Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet. You’ll use Penske tools and training to keep vehicles safe and on the road, with a Sunday-Thursday night schedule and $24/hour pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Team player and able to work outdoors.
• Familiarity with DOT/OSHA safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles and ensure safety for customers.
• Use Penske tools to log, diagnose and repair.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs.
• Learn new skills through technician training.
• Assist on other projects as assigned.
