Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Technician II in Jessup, MD for the 3rd shift (10:30pm to 6:00am).

You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, working independently on major and minor repairs, and mentoring newer technicians as you grow your skills. You will use Penske’s tools to diagnose, log, and complete repairs, with training provided to advance your career.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical vehicle maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive Penske and customer vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel systems.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Log and research repairs using Penske tools and systems.
• Learn new skills through Penske training.
