Penske Truck Leasing in Jessup, MD is seeking a Technician II to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on our broad fleet. You’ll work largely independently, diagnose problems, and mentor newer technicians while staying aligned with safety policies.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification preferred.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment and common shop tools.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision and in a timely manner.
• Repair engines, transmissions, differentials, and other major components.
• Keep work area clean and safe; document repairs using Penske systems.
• Learn Penske maintenance processes and participate in training.
