Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Technician II to perform preventative maintenance, basic and advanced repairs with limited supervision, and diagnose vehicle systems to suggest accurate repairs.

The ideal candidate will have a Diesel Technology Associate degree and at least 3 years of experience working on class 7 & 8 trucks, with willingness to work in a non-climate controlled shop. FleetPride offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Diesel tech associate degree required.
• 3+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Welding and airbrake certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as oil changes, lubrication and filter replacements.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes and related components.
• Troubleshoot electrical, exhaust, steering, and suspension systems; road-test vehicles.
