Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Technician II to perform preventative maintenance and complex repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers in a fast-paced shop environment. You will diagnose issues, replace components, and ensure safe, reliable operation of fleet equipment.

The ideal candidate has a Diesel Technology Associate degree and 3+ years of experience with Class 7 & 8 trucks, including trailer repair. This on-site role includes bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Diesel technology associate degree or equivalent training.
• 3+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Experience repairing and maintaining 53’ trailers.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs with limited supervision.
• Diagnose vehicle system failures and suggest repairs.
• Repair brakes, suspensions, electrical and exhaust systems as needed.
• Test drive vehicles and ensure quality workmanship.
