Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Technician II to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, and repair components on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will work with basic and advanced systems under limited supervision in a non-climate controlled shop.

The role requires a Diesel technology degree and 3+ years of Class 7–8 truck experience, with welding capability and tool availability. Safety and accuracy are essential, with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Diesel technology degree with hands-on heavy-duty experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers.
• Airbrake certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine damage or malfunction.
• Provide preventative maintenance solutions when appropriate.
• Maintain productivity and prevent comebacks.
• Inspect and perform routine maintenance and repairs as directed.
