Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Technician II to expertly diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers in a non-climate controlled shop. You will perform preventative maintenance, adjust and replace components, and test drive to verify repairs while maintaining safety and productivity.

Candidates should hold a Diesel Technology Associates degree with 3+ years’ experience on class 7/8 trucks, including welding and airbrake certification.

Qualifications

• Diesel Technology Associates degree required.
• 3+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers.
• Welding and airbrake certified.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Provide preventative maintenance solutions when appropriate.
• Maintain 80% productivity and prevent comebacks.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Repair brakes, suspensions, electrical and exhaust systems.
• Test drive vehicles and diagnose system failures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
