Job summary

FleetPride, the nation’s leading after-market distributor for heavy-duty truck and trailer parts, seeks a Technician II to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs with limited supervision. You will handle basic and advanced adjustments, and contribute to reliable service outcomes.

Qualified candidates will have a Diesel Technology Associate degree, 3+ years on Class 7-8 trucks, welding and airbrake certs, and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Diesel Technology with 3+ years of experience on Class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers and related components.
• Welding and airbrake certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine damage or malfunction.
• Provide preventative maintenance solutions to customers as appropriate.
• Maintain high productivity and prevent comebacks.
• Perform routine maintenance like oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes across systems.
• Test drive vehicles and assess components with proper equipment.
