Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing in Dixon, CA is seeking an experienced Technician II to perform preventative maintenance and repairs across a diverse fleet. You will work independently, set an example for peers, and mentor newer technicians while expanding your skills with guidance from experienced teammates.

You will log repairs using Penske tools, participate in ongoing technician training, and take on additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.
• Experience with diagnosing/troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
• Must understand and comply with Penske safety and maintenance policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance services with little supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions and differentials, turbochargers, fuel systems, etc.
