ADP in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Diesel Truck Technician II for mid-level diagnostics and repairs on diesel-powered trucks and fleet equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and perform PM services, while mentoring junior staff as needed.

Requires 2-4 years in diesel/auto tech, ability to read schematics, use OEM diagnostic software, and lift 50+ lbs. The role reports to the Shop Foreman and offers full-time hours with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-4 years of experience as a diesel or automotive technician.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair procedures.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsabilités

• Diagnostics & repair: diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and emission issues.
• Preventative maintenance & inspections: perform PM services and DOT-level checks.
• Documentation & reporting: document work orders, hours, parts, and findings.
• Safety & shop standards: follow safety programs and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
