Job summary

FleetPride, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Diesel Technician II with mid-level experience to handle heavy-duty truck repairs in our shop. You will work Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, and join a team focused on safe, efficient service.

Weekly pay, monthly bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package begin on day one. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in HD repair, own their tools, and hold a valid DL; CDL is a plus. Expect ongoing training, tool program benefits, and clear advancement paths in a busy shop

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HD truck/trailer repair experience.
• Strong communication with service manager, writer and customers.
• Ability to provide your own tools and box.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• CDL is a plus, but not required.
• Safety-focused and efficient in a fast shop environment.
• Proficient in preventive maintenance, air systems, electrical diag/repairs, brakes, wheel ends, cooling, steering, alignment, drivetrains and trailer repairs.

Responsibilities

• Repair heavy-duty trucks/trailers in FleetPride's shop.
• Communicate progress and issues with the team and customers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostic checks.
• Utilize tools and follow safety procedures to deliver quality service.

Diesel Technician II

This is FleetPride's technician who will be able to work on most heavy-duty truck repairs in our shop. We are needing mid-level experience for this role.
