Job summary

FleetPride in Fond du Lac, WI is seeking a Technician II to perform preventative maintenance, basic and advanced repairs, and component replacements with limited supervision.

Duties include inspecting vehicles, diagnosing systems, repairing brakes and suspensions, and conducting test drives to verify fixes.

Qualifications

• Diesel Technology Associates degree required.
• 3+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks ideal.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Provide preventative maintenance solutions and repairs.
• Maintain 80% productivity and prevent comebacks.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Repair brakes, suspension, electrical, and fuel systems; test drive as needed.
