Job summary

Penske is seeking an entry-level Diesel Technician/Mechanic III to perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on a diverse fleet. You will learn Penske’s maintenance processes and use state-of-the-art diagnostic tools while advancing through hands-on coaching and industry-certified training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Ability to use basic tools and mechanical problem-solving.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles to keep them safe and on the road.
• Log, research, and complete repairs using Penske tools and tech.
• Perform preventative maintenance including tire rotation and lubrication.
• Learn new skills through Penske training and coaching.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
