Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is hiring a Technician at our Omaha, NE location. You’ll perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs, using Penske’s tools and training to keep vehicles safe and on the road.

Whether new to the field or experienced, you’ll grow with hands-on coaching from master technicians. You’ll learn Penske’s maintenance processes, advanced tech, and gain industry-certified training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver's license and ability to follow DOT/OSHA safety policies.
• Willingness to learn, good customer service and teamwork.
• Able to perform all work adhering to Penske safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers.
• Using Penske's tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Performing preventative maintenance and component lubrication on gas and diesel engines.
• Learning from supervisors and technicians through Penske training programs.
• Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
