Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet. You’ll work with experienced supervisors to learn cutting-edge maintenance processes and training opportunities to progress your career.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to use Penske tools safely.
• Commitment to DOT/OSHA safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and ensuring vehicle safety for customers.
• Using Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Performing preventative maintenance repairs and component lubrication and replacement.
• Learning new skills through Penske’s technician training and coaching.
• Working on additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
