Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a skilled Technician in Omaha, NE, to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs, using Penske tools and diagnostic gear. You will work on a variety of fleet vehicles and grow through hands-on coaching and formal technician training.

Responsibilities include keeping vehicles safe and on the road, performing maintenance tasks, and collaborating with your supervisor on new skills. This role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; ability to use tools and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to keep customers on the road.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance like tire rotation and lubrication.
• Learn new skills with hands-on coaching from management.
• Take on additional projects as assigned by a supervisor.
