Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is hiring a Technician in Tucson, AZ. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet, using Penske tools and technology to diagnose and complete repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver's license and ability to use tools; understand and comply with Penske safety and maintenance policies.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske's tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs such as replacing or rotating tires and lubrication, plus some electrical and cooling system work on gas/diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training and hands-on coaching with your manager.
• Take on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
