Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver's license and ability to use Penske tools and technologies.
• Ability to solve problems, strong communication and customer service skills.
• Commitment to safety policies and teamwork in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on light-to-medium duty fleet vehicles.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske tools and basic diagnostics.
• Perform basic vehicle diagnostics and maintenance like tire rotations and lubrication.
• Collaborate with management and training resources to learn new skills.
• Handle daily tasks and projects as assigned by supervision.
