Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Technician in Phoenix to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll help keep vehicles on the road and learn Penske’s industry-leading maintenance processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate tools safely.
• Good customer service and communication skills; ability to work in a team and outdoors.
• DOT/OSHA safety compliance and ability to pass drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and some electrical/cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Participate in other projects as assigned by supervisor.
