Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work with Penske tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and performs preventative maintenance to ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Uses Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs including basic diagnostics.
• Performs maintenance like tire rotation, lubrication, electrical and cooling system checks on gas/diesel engines.
• Learns new skills via Penske’s technician training and hands‑on coaching.
• Follows supervisor directions and works on other projects as assigned.
