Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a skilled Technician II in Baltimore, MD to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet.

You will work independently on major and minor repairs, conduct road tests, and mentor newer technicians while expanding your own skills. The role offers a Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm schedule, a competitive hourly wage, extensive training through Penske’s programs, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.
• Experienced using tools of the trade (diagnostic equipment, hand tools, power tools).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision in a timely manner.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel systems.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
