Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will work with experienced supervisors and master technicians, learning Penske’s maintenance processes and the latest technology to keep vehicles on the road.

Ideal candidates have basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of auto or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and inspect vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to diagnose and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication; assist with electrical and cooling system tasks.
• Partner with supervisor to learn new skills through Penske training and hands-on coaching.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by supervisor and support team goals.
