Dollar General Fleet is hiring Diesel Technicians in Blair, NE, offering $24.00 - $35.00 per hour with weekly pay. The role involves ensuring trucks, trailers, and yard tractors comply with federal standards and performing repairs as needed.

A comprehensive benefits package and company-provided tools are included. Applicants must have at least one year of experience on Class A trucks, with knowledge of air brakes, hydraulic and electrical systems, welding, and fabrication.

Formación

• At least one year of experience working on Class A trucks.
• Experience working with air brakes, hydraulic & electrical systems.
• Prior welding and fabrication experience required.
• Tire repair experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair truck and trailer components such as doors, floors, side panels, electrical and air brake systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tractor and trailer equipment, including routine repairs and repair orders.
• Maintain safety and reliability on all fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, lift-gates, and any company-owned equipment.
• Abide by all company policies and safety rules and assist in maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Assist drivers with addressing outstanding vehicle issues.
• Maintain repairs for Class 8 trucks, trailers and yard tractors.
• Safely operate gauges, forklifts, shunt trucks, torches, grinders, and various hand and power safety tools.
