This role involves diagnosing and repairing trucks and trailers, performing PMs, DOT inspections, and assisting drivers. Requires at least 1 year of Class A truck experience and familiarity with air brakes, hydraulics, electrical systems, and welding.

Qualifikationen

• At least 1 year of experience on Class A trucks.
• Experience with air brakes, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience required.
• DOT inspections and compliance familiarity.
• Tire repair experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose and repair truck and trailer components, including doors and air brake systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tractors and trailers and complete repair orders.
• Perform repairs to maximize safety and reliability of fleet vehicles.
• Follow company safety rules and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Assist drivers with outstanding vehicle issues.
• Maintain repairs for Class 8 trucks, trailers and yard tractors.
• Operate gauges, forklifts, shunt trucks, torches, grinders and safety tools.
