Dollar General Fleet is hiring Diesel Technicians in Blair, NE. Earn 24.00 - 35.00 per hour with weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and company-provided tools.

The role includes maintaining Class 8 trucks and trailers, and performing DOT inspections to meet federal standards. Requirements include at least 1 year on Class A trucks, experience with air brakes, hydraulic and electrical systems, welding and fabrication, and preferred tire repair.

Formación

• At least one year of experience working on Class A trucks.
• Experience with air brakes, hydraulic & electrical systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience required.
• Tire repair experience preferred.
• Perform DOT inspections and compliancy.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair truck and trailer components such as doors, floors, side panels, electrical and air brake systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on tractor and trailer equipment, including routine repair orders
• Maintain repairs for Class 8 trucks, trailers and yard tractors
• Abide by all Company policies and safety rules and assist in maintaining a clean, safe work environment
• Assist drivers with addressing outstanding vehicle issues
• Maintain repairs for fleet equipment including tractors, trailers, lift-gates and company-owned gear
