Job summary

Carvana is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our Fleet Maintenance team in Framingham, MA. You will work on Class 8 trucks and trailers to ensure uptime, performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and system repairs with a focus on electrical, engine, and aftertreatment issues.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers or similar equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems.
• Experience with aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics.
• Comfortable with MIG welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and component replacements on the fleet.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot electrical, engine, and transmission problems.
• Address issues with aftertreatment systems (DEF/emissions) and perform regens.
• Maintain accurate records, collaborate with team to optimize vehicle performance and minimize downtime.
