Job summary

Carvana seeks a Diesel Technician to join our Fleet Maintenance team in Virginia, working on Class 8 trucks and trailers to keep the fleet up and running, with emphasis on diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and reliable repairs. You will need 3+ years of experience on heavy-duty equipment, ASE certifications within six months, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with heavy-duty Class 8 trucks and trailers.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines and transmissions.
• Two ASE Certifications within the first 6 months of employment.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles.
• Diagnostics using tools and software to troubleshoot issues.
• Address aftertreatment system issues (DEF/emissions) and perform regens.
• Collaborate with team to maintain records and minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure DOT compliance.
