Job summary

Carvana seeks a skilled Diesel Technician to join our Fleet Maintenance team. You’ll work on Class 8 trucks and trailers to keep our fleet safe and on the road, with emphasis on preventive maintenance and reliable uptime.

You’ll diagnose electrical, engine, and aftertreatment issues, perform repairs, and collaborate with the team to minimize downtime. A strong background in diesel tech and safety practices is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines and vehicle systems.
• Two ASE Certifications within the first 6 months (reimbursed).
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Routine Maintenance & Repair on the Class 8 fleet.
• Diagnostics to troubleshoot electrical, engine and transmission issues.
• Repair aftertreatment systems, perform regens, change filters.
• Collaborate with team to minimize downtime and document records.
• Follow safety protocols and keep fleet DOT compliant.
