Job summary

Carvana invites a skilled Diesel Technician to join our Fleet Maintenance team. You’ll service Class 8 trucks and trailers to ensure uptime and reliability across our growing network, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers or similar equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems.
• Experience with aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and component replacements on the Class 8 fleet.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot using diagnostic tools and laptop manuals.
• Address aftertreatment system issues, perform regenerations, and change filters.
• Collaborate to maintain records, optimize performance, minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols and DOT compliance.
