Job summary

Carvana is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our Fleet Maintenance team in Kentucky. You will service Class 8 trucks and trailers, perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to keep the fleet up and running.

The role emphasizes safe operations, thorough record-keeping, and alignment with DOT standards. The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits, including a tool and boot allowance, ASE certification reimbursement, and opportunities for career growth

Qualifications

Three+ years of experience with Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers or similar equipment
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines, transmissions and vehicle systems
Experience with aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and component replacements on our fleet
Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical, engine, and transmission issues
Address aftertreatment systems and perform regenerations and filter changes
Maintain accurate records, optimize vehicle performance and minimize downtime
Adhere to safety protocols and DOT compliance
