Job summary

Carvana is hiring a Diesel Technician to maintain our Class 8 fleet. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections and component replacements, and troubleshoot engine, electrical and aftertreatment systems. Expect growth opportunities as part of a rapidly expanding fleet maintenance team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers or similar equipment
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines, transmissions and vehicle systems
• Experience with aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics
• MIG welding is a plus
• Two ASE certifications within first 6 months (reimbursed)

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance and repairs on the Class 8 fleet
• Diagnostics to troubleshoot electrical, engine and transmission problems
• Address aftertreatment issues, perform regenerations and change filters
• Collaborate with team to maintain records and minimize downtime
• Adhere to safety protocols and DOT compliance
