Penske is hiring a Technician in Franklin, MA. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on Penske fleet vehicles, using our tools and technologies to diagnose and complete repairs.

You will partner with your manager to learn new skills and participate in Penske’s industry-certified training programs. The role offers a starting pay of $31.51 per hour plus shift differential, a Sunday-Thursday schedule, and ample opportunities for growth within a reputable national provider of

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1-2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to solve problems and use basic tools.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Team player who can work outdoors in various conditions.
• Must comply with Penske safety policies and DOT/OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on Penske fleet vehicles.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to diagnose and complete repairs.
• Conduct basic vehicle diagnostics and maintenance tasks (tires, lubrication, cooling systems).
• Work closely with a supervisor to learn new skills through Penske’s technician training program.
• Participate in other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
