Job summary

Penske is hiring a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a wide range of vehicles. You will work with advanced tools and receive industry-certified training to advance your career in a supportive environment.

Starting pay is $28.00/hr with a $2.00 CDL differential if applicable, plus shift premiums. The position emphasizes safety, reliability, and ongoing learning with opportunities for growth at a well-respected industry leader.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to use tools and read instructions.
• DOT/OSHA compliance awareness required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotations and lubrication.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and coaching.
• Assist with other projects as assigned by supervisor.
