The role offers training, mentoring from experienced technicians, and the chance to grow within a stable organization. Starting pay is $31.51/hr with shift differential, reflecting a Monday–Friday schedule with a Sunday-Thursday rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Good problem solving and ability to use common tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication.
• Collaborate with manager to learn new skills through Penske training.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
