Job summary

Fleet Services by Cox Automotive offers an educational path to becoming a Diesel Technician through the FleeTec Academy. The four-week, paid classroom training, travel expenses covered, and a stipend start you on a career in mobile on-site fleet maintenance.

Participants are paired with a Lead Technician for hands-on training and, upon graduation, join as full-time Mobile Diesel Technicians in their market.

Qualifications

• Desire to start a career as a Diesel Technician.
• Willingness to study hard.
• Dedicate 4 weeks away from home.
• Maturity and focus on tasks.
• Technical aptitude and passion for fixing vehicles.
• Ability to operate an iPad.
• Must be 21 to drive our trucks.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in four weeks of paid classroom training.
• Work with a Lead Technician for hands-on training.
• Upon graduation, transition to a full-time Mobile Diesel Technician.
• Perform preventative maintenance and on-site repairs at customer locations.
