Job summary

Cox Fleet is offering an enrollment into the FleeTec Academy, a paid educational program that leads to becoming a full-time Diesel Technician. Candidates will receive hands-on training, travel expenses paid, and housing accommodations as they progress through the program.

The program provides a paycheck during training and a clear pathway to a full-time mobile diesel mechanic role in the hire market. Training lasts 10 weeks with ongoing classroom study and hands-on mentorship.

Qualifications

• Desire to start a career as a Diesel Technician and become one of our Mobile Mechanics.
• Bring a willingness and ability to study hard.
• Dedicate 10 weeks away from home to be with us.
• Maturity level to focus on the task at hand.
• Technical aptitude and a passion for fixing vehicles.
• Ability to operate iPad.
• Must be 21 to drive one of our trucks.
• High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education is preferred but not required.
• We conduct background checks, driving records checks, pre‑employment drug testing and physical.

Responsibilities

• Our Mobile Technicians are assigned a state-of-the-art vehicle to perform vehicle repairs at customer locations.
• You will go to customers’ locations to do preventative maintenance and general repairs onsite.
• Real pay rates with a predefined pathway for raises.
