Job summary

Fleet Services by Cox Automotive is recruiting for its FleeTec Academy, a paid educational program that leads to a Diesel Technician career. Trainees receive paid classroom instruction, tools, and a stipend, with travel expenses covered and weekly pay during four weeks of training.

After classroom phase, you’ll be paired with a Lead Technician for hands-on training and a guaranteed full-time position upon successful completion.

Qualifications

• Guidance to start a career as a Diesel Technician.
• Must be willing to study hard for 4 weeks and relocate if required.
• Background checks and pre-employment screening may apply.

Responsibilities

• Attend 4 weeks of paid classroom training with travel expenses paid.
• Complete hands-on training with a Lead Technician in your market.
• Progress through the multi-year program toward a full-time Diesel Technician role.
• Operate a mobile service vehicle to perform preventative maintenance and repairs at customer locations.
