Job summary

Cox Fleet is offering a paid educational program that leads to becoming a full-time Diesel & Trailer Technician. Trainees receive free education on diesel fundamentals and tools, plus a toolbox and hands-on mentorship.

The program includes five weeks of classroom training in Indianapolis with travel paid, followed by field mentorship and subsequent classroom refreshers to prepare for a full-time Mobile Diesel Technician role.

Qualifications

• Desire to start a career as a Diesel & Trailer Technician and become one of our Mobile Mechanics.
• Willingness and ability to study hard.
• Dedicate ten (10) weeks away from home to be with us.
• Maturity level to focus on the task at hand. This is not a summer camp, but a start of your career path.
• Technical aptitude and a passion for fixing vehicles.
• A current and valid DOT medical card or the ability to obtain one.
• DOT background screening and DOT physical prior to employment.
