Job summary

Penske is hiring a Technician in Pottsville, PA. You’ll perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet, using Penske tools and diagnostic equipment. The role offers growth opportunities, training, and a strong safety culture.

Shifts run Monday–Friday, 10:30pm–7am with a shift differential. You’ll work alongside experienced supervisors and master technicians to advance your skills while contributing to vehicle reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate tools safely.
• Willingness to learn and work with Penske training programs and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on Penske fleet vehicles.
• Log repairs and use Penske tools and diagnostics to troubleshoot.
• Conduct basic vehicle diagnostics and component lubrication/replacement as needed.
• Collaborate with supervisor and technicians to learn new skills and earn certifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and comply with DOT and Penske safety policies.
