Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a skilled Technician in Albany, NY. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet, using Penske tools and processes. This role offers growth opportunities, safety training, and a strong team environment.

Starting rate is $25.25/hr plus a $4.00 shift differential for 3rd shift, with a path to develop technician skills, learn new technologies, and advance within the company’s service network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; vocational cert in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to follow safety rules and work with tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and inspect vehicles to ensure safety for customers.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs, incl. basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and some electrical/cooling system work.
• Collaborate with manager to learn new skills and participate in training.
