Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is hiring a Technician in Pottsville, PA to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll work with experienced supervisors and master technicians and receive industry-certified training to grow your career.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of automotive/diesel repair experience, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll work on 3rd shift with a $3.50 shift differential and a commitment to safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical certification is a plus.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required and DOT safety policies followed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools to log, research, and complete repairs including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication and handle electrical and cooling system maintenance.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and coaching.
• Take on additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
