Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. in Pottsville, PA is hiring a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will work with experienced supervisors and master technicians, learning Penske's vehicle maintenance processes and earning industry-certified training to grow your career.

Shifts available include 3rd shift with a $3.50 shift differential added to the base rate. We emphasize safety, reliability, and hands-on coaching to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and ensures vehicles are safe for customers.
• Uses Penske tools/technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Performs preventive maintenance and component lubrication, tire rotation, and basic electrical work on gas/diesel engines.
• Partner with manager to learn new skills via Penske's training and hands-on coaching.
• Works on other projects as assigned by supervisor.
