Job summary

Cummins in Williston, ND is seeking a Diesel Technician/Mechanic to complete diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop under limited supervision. This role is based on site in Williston with potential field work 25% to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Williston, ND).

• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
• Maintain own tools

Would be willing to work in the Field 25% to 50% of the time

Driving Requirements

• A current valid license is required for this role
• This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
• This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
• 3 years driving experience
• This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use

Federal law requires operators of commercial vehicles to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age

CDL Requirements

• A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire
• Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older

Due to the operational nature and specific job duties of this role, work is required to be completed 100% in person/On-site.

Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)

Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution

Locally valid driving permit (Preferred)

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
