Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Shop Diesel Technician II to support growth. You will perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, light and follow-up repairs, and diagnostics on diesel equipment in a shop environment.

The role involves advanced diagnostics under supervision, maintaining high productivity, and adhering to safety and company policies. Cox Fleet offers weekly pay and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with related repair experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read manuals and schematics.
• Experience performing DOT inspections and PMs on diesel fleet equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform licensed DOT inspections and Preventive Maintenance on light to heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic issues.
• Maintain safety standards, document work, and communicate findings to the Shop Manager.
