Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Shop Diesel Technician II to join our Indianapolis team. You will perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light and follow-up repairs, and diagnostics in a shop environment, under supervision as needed.

You will work with the Service Writer to assess customer needs, document findings, and maintain safety and quality standards. The role requires a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of related experience, and a valid driver's license; on-site work with potential

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years’ experience in a related field or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain DQF

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections, PM inspections, and light/ follow-up repairs.
• Diagnose electrical/hydraulic/electrical/diagnostic issues with tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and document work performed.
• Coordinate with Service Writer to review customer needs and estimates
• Adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies.
