Cox Fleet is seeking a Shop Diesel Technician II to support our growth. You will perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance inspections, and light to heavy-duty repairs in a shop setting.

The role includes diagnostics, tool usage, and documenting work performed in the repair order system. You will collaborate with the Shop Manager and Service Writer to provide accurate estimates, manage parts, and ensure safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years in related field or 5 years' experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to work safely in a shop environment and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe operating practices and procedures.
• Determine parts and coordinate with Parts Department.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and manage tools.
• Perform DOT inspections and scheduled PMs.
• Diagnose and repair light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Complete DOT forms and upload repair data.
• Communicate with Service Writer and Shop Manager on estimates.
• Travel to customer locations as needed.
