Qualifications

• Three years hands-on experience or graduate of vocational courses.
• CDL preferred; A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications required.
• Must have necessary tools to perform responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs general mechanical duties and assists in repairs.
• Gains experience on engine overhaul, fuel, electrical, transmissions, cooling, brakes, and chassis with supervision.
• Performs trouble shooting on minor problems.
• Attends training sessions and meetings.
• Maintains a neat and orderly workspace and proper tool handling.
• Advises the Shop Foreman if additional repair work is necessary.
• Follows safety practices and uses required safety equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
