Job summary

Candidates need a High School Diploma or GED, 17+ years old, and at least one year of experience or completion of trade school, plus own tools and ability to read manuals.

Physical stamina is required; willing to work various shifts. CDL/FMCSA compliance may apply to driving roles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must be 17+ years of age.
• Minimum one year experience or completion of trade school.
• Must be able to use hand tools and test equipment.
• Must have own tools.
• Must know general repairs and PM criteria.
• Experience in heavy truck repairs and diesel engine diagnostics.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventive maintenance on diesel engines, trucks, and/or forklifts.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and maintain equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections and prepare FMCSA-compliant documents.
• Interpret work orders and technical manuals.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components or systems.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• This is not an all-inclusive list and duties may be assigned.
