Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking skilled technicians for maintenance and repair of diesel engines, trucks, and forklifts. Responsibilities include inspecting, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance, while ensuring compliance with FMCSA and other regulations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of experience or trade school training, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. A valid CDL and FMCSA Clearinghouse registration may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED or equivalent education background.
• Minimum of 1 year experience and/or completion of trade school; or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to use hand tools and test equipment and own tools.
• Knowledge of heavy truck repairs and diesel engine diagnostics.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and working in various positions.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and comply with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on diesel engines, trucks, and/or forklifts.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and maintain equipment.
• Complete safety inspections and prepare FMCSA and other regulatory documents.
• Interpret work orders and technical manuals; repair or replace defective parts.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and compliance with specs.
