Estes-Express-Lines is hiring skilled diesel mechanics for on-site maintenance of diesel engines, trucks, and forklifts. The role covers inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and testing, with adherence to FMCSA safety and company policies.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, basic tools, and the ability to lift ~70 lbs; CDL and Clearinghouse familiarity is a plus. We welcome applicants with 1 year of experience or trade school completion, and offer flexible shifts including

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background
• Must be 17+ years of age
• At least 1 year experience and/or trade school completion or equivalent
• Must be able to use hand tools and test equipment
• Must have own tools
• General repairs and PM criteria knowledge
• Heavy truck repairs knowledge including diesel engine diagnostics
• Ability to adapt to changing technology and updates
• Mechanical interest in engines/electronics
• Ability to lift and work with heavy equipment
• CDL and acceptable MVR required for driving on public roads
• CDL holder must be registered with FMCSA Clearinghouse
• Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
• Self-starting and organized
• Willing to work any shift including nights and weekends
• Must be able to lift ~70 lbs
• Must comply with company policies and work well with others
• Able to work independently or in a team
• Capable of working under tight deadlines

Responsabilidades

• Repairs and preventive maintenance of diesel engines, trucks and/or forklifts
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and maintain equipment
• Perform safety inspections and prepare FMCSA safety documents
• Interpret work orders and manuals
• Repair or replace defective parts
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance
• Maintain regular attendance
• Possibly perform other duties as assigned
